Jean-Paul Jaeger
Jean-Paul Maurice Jaeger (born September 6, 1944 in Nancy ) is a French clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Arras .
Life
Jean-Paul Maurice Jaeger was ordained a priest on April 6, 1974 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Nancy on April 11, 1991 . The Bishop of Nancy, Jean Albert Marie Auguste Bernard , ordained him episcopal on June 2 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jean Vilnet , Bishop of Lille , and Jacques Louis Léon Delaporte , Archbishop of Cambrai .
When Bernards retired on November 30, 1991, he succeeded him as Bishop of Nancy. The Pope appointed him Bishop of Arras on August 12, 1998.
