Jean-Pierre Tizon
Jean-Pierre Tizon (born October 26, 1920 in Ducey , † November 8, 2012 in Ducey ) was a French doctor and politician.
Life
Tizon represented the Manche department in the French Senate from 1983 to 1998 . Previously, he was mayor of the Ducey Local Government Association. Together with his wife Geneviève Tizon, he campaigned for a town twinning between Ducey and the Baden-Württemberg town of Laichingen , which came about on May 10, 1986 in Ducey and on June 14, 1986 in Laichingen by signing a partnership document. In 2006 he received honorary citizenship of the city of Laichingen.
