Jean Égreteaud is a former French racing car driver .

Career

Égreteaud was active as a private driver in Porsche racing vehicles in the 1960s and 1970s . He competed in the French GT championship and also drove in the GT class in the sports car world championship . He competed four times as a driver in the Le Mans 24-hour race . He made his debut in 1969 on a Porsche 911T together with his compatriot Raymond Lopez . The mission ended prematurely after an accident. Three more races followed, all of which ended in failures.

He has also competed several times in the Tour de France for automobiles . His best placement was fifth overall in 1969 .
