Jean Darbellay
Jean Darbellay (* 1912 ; † September 18, 2008 ) was a Swiss legal scholar and legal philosopher .
Darbellay received his doctorate in 1944 and was appointed associate professor at the University of Freiburg in 1954 . In 1972 he took over the chair for general and Swiss public law , administrative law and legal philosophy. In the academic years 1958/59 and 1967/68 he was dean of the law, economics and social science faculties. In 1982 he retired.
