Jean Fouconnier was a French sports marksman .

Jean Fouconnier participated in the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906 in twelve disciplines. In the three-position fight with the free rifle, he won the bronze medal in the team competition together with Léon Moreaux , Maurice Fauré , Raoul de Boigne and Maurice Lecoq . With the military revolver from the model year 1874 it took first place, while it came second with the free revolver.

At world championships, Fouconnier won four bronze medals in team competitions. With the free pistol he took third place in 1904 in Lyon , 1906 in Milan and 1907 in Zurich , with the free rifle he came third in the three-position battle in Brussels in 1905 .
