Jean Grelaud

Jean Grelaud (born October 26, 1898 in Paris , † February 25, 2007 there ) was one of the last living French veterans of the First World War . He was 108 years old.

Grelaud was mobilized in 1917 and was assigned to an infantry brigade in the Aisne department. He fought in the battle of the Aisne . Grelaud also took part in the Second World War, but he refused all his life to reveal pictures or other details from his life.

The last French veteran - Lazare Ponticelli , (born December 7, 1897) - died on March 12, 2008.
