Jean Lara

Jean Lara (actually Juan Usnadivaras , born September 20, 1922 in Dijon , † September 25, 2010 ) was a French actor and filmmaker.

Life

Lara has appeared in films since 1946, initially under the name Jean Varas . since the beginning of the 1950s under the stage name Jean Lara . In addition to acting, he worked as a production manager for numerous films until 1986, including The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie by Luis Buñuel . Lara could also be seen in occasional theater productions in the 1950s and 1960s. As a director he made two short films ; once he was also active as a screenwriter .
