Jean Mauberna

Jean Mauberna (born November 10, 1904 , † 1984 ) was a Central African and Nigerien governor and diplomat .

Life

Jean Mauberna entered the service of French Equatorial Africa in 1926 . He became deputy head of France d'outre-mer. From April 25 to December 1, 1948, he was acting governor of Ubangi-Shari . He then headed the National Defense Department in the French Colonial Ministry.

Subsequently, he was successively placed in the cabinet of Félix Houphouët-Boigny as a technical advisor, acted as State Secretary for the Presidential Council and as State Secretary in the Ministry of Health in Abidjan . From January 29th to October 2nd, 1958, he was acting governor of French Guinea . From April 25, 1959 to March 22, 1960 he was Niger's ambassador in Paris.
