Jean Paul Ertel
Jean Paul Ertel (born January 22, 1865 in Posen , † February 11, 1933 in Berlin ) was a German composer.
Franz Liszt's student lived as a music critic and teacher in Berlin. He composed several symphonic poems, a symphony , two string quartets, a violin sonata, a suite for violin and piano and two operas .
Jean Paul Ertel died in Berlin in 1933 at the age of 68. He was buried in the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Cemetery in Westend . The grave has not been preserved.
