Jean Reynaud

Jean Reynaud (born February 14, 1806 in Lyon , † July 28, 1863 in Paris ) was a French philosopher and representative of socialism in the 19th century.

Live and act

Reynaud attended the École polytechnique in Paris and graduated as a mining engineer . He was a member of the Constituent Assembly from 1849 to 1854, where he represented the moderate democrats . During his studies he began to devote himself to philosophical studies and turned to Saint-Simonism . He applied the idea of ​​progress metaphysically that man had already existed in a premortal state and would continue to exist in other worlds; there are no purely immaterial spirits.
