Jeanne is an impact crater on Venus .

description

Jeanne's crater has a triangular shape of its ejection, suggesting that the impacting body likely hit Venus at an angle from southwest to northeast. The crater is comprised of two different types of dark materials. The dark area on the southwest side of the crater is covered by smooth lava flows , while the very dark area on the northeast side of the crater is covered by smooth material such as fine-grained sediment . The crater also shows several drainage channels on the northwest side.
