Jeanne Alexise G'nago (born August 14, 1984 in Abidjan ) is an Ivorian soccer player .

Career

society

Gnago started her active career in the youth of the women's football department of the Stella Club d'Adjamé . There she played in all youth teams and for two years in the senior team. In 2004 she left SC Adjame and moved to the highest Ivorian women's league for Juventus de Yopougon . In October 2012 she was awarded the Ballon D'or as the best defensive player of the Ivorian championship season 2012.

National team

In 2004 she played her international debut at the Women International Tournament in Burkina Faso, which she won with the Ivory Coast. She has been the team captain for the Ivorian women's national soccer team since 2008 . She was nominated on October 26, 2012 for the Coupe d'Afrique des nations féminine de football .

successes

Gnago took part in the FIFA World Player Gala FIFA Ballon d'Or 2009 at the Zurich Opera House as the Ivory Coast team captain . In September 2012 she was nominated as “Africa's Player of the Year” at the 2012 Africa Top Sports Awards.
