Jeanne Roland

Jeanne Roland (* 1942 in Rangoon ; actually Jean Rollins ) is a former British actress and model .

Life

Jeanne Roland worked successfully as a model under her maiden name even before her film career. She made her first screen appearance in 1964 as Annette Dubois in the hammer film Die Rache des Pharao . She immediately played the female lead in her debut.

In the following two years she appeared in numerous television series, including Simon Templar and Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone . Her next cinema appearance was a small role in the Bond parody Casino Royale from 1967. That year she managed the feat of appearing twice within a year as a Bond girl, because she was also seen twice in You Only Live , as a Bonds masseuse.

Roland was seen twice in the cinema, in 1968 in The Mysterious Mr. Sebastian and in the same year in Salt and Pepper by Richard Donner . Her last documented appearance as an actress was in 1969 in an episode of the television series The Champions .

Jeanne Roland was married to the actor Albert Louis Baden for six years. The marriage ended in divorce in 1966.
