Jeff Galloway
Jeff Galloway (born July 12, 1945 , Raleigh , North Carolina ) is a retired American long-distance runner who is now a popular running coach and non-fiction author. His greatest achievement was winning the 1974 Honolulu Marathon ; he was also a participant in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich .
He is the inventor of the Run-Walk-Run ™ method of running, the centerpiece of which is planned walking breaks during training and marathon competitions, and the author of several books on running.
