Jeff Noon
Jeff Noon (* 1957 in Droylsden , England ) is a British writer , playwright, painter and musician . He is best known for his science fiction novels.
Life
Jeff Noon worked in bookstores before overnight as the author of the novel yellow (Engl. Vurt ) became famous, the enthusiastic criticism as the Clockwork Orange of the nineties celebrated. The Guardian described him as "a figure with the greatest promises in British science fiction", but now he is "if not forgotten, someone who never got the recognition that seemed inevitable". His novel Gelb has been translated into fifteen languages. Noon worked as a painter, musician and writer. He initiated several online art projects, among other things he published only 140 characters long micro-short stories on Twitter , which he called microspores . Jeff Noon now lives in Brighton .
