Jeff Torrington
Jeff Torrington (born December 31, 1935 in Glasgow , Scotland , † May 11, 2008 in Paisley , Scotland) was a British writer.
Jeff Torrington described the decline of "old" Glasgow in his novels. For his debut work "Swing Hammer Swing!", Published in 1992, he was awarded the prestigious and highly endowed British literature prize - the Whitbread Book Award .
