Jeffrey Paul "Jeff" Tucker (born December 10, 1956 in White Plains , New York ) is a former American luge athlete .
Tucker began tobogganing in 1976, he competed in a single-seater. In 1979 he was able to win the AAU championships. He also qualified for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . There he finished 12th after four runs. Until 1992, this was the best placement of a US luge at winter games.
Tucker attended Staples High School in Westport , Connecticut , where he played football and was the captain of the ski team. He graduated from college in Middlebury in 1979 with a degree in political science .
