Jeff Yoo ( Korean 제프 유 / 유지영 Jeff Ji Young Yu ; born October 30, 1978 ) is a former American - South Korean soccer player . He was used in the position of the center forward.
Career
In his youth he attended Averett University . At the age of 21, he then moved in September 2000 from his previous franchise Ulsan Hyundai from the South Korean K League 1 to VfL Osnabrück in the second division . His only appearance for the team was on September 24th, 2000 in the 0-1 home defeat against Hannover 96 . There he came on for Lars Kindgen in the 59th minute . After that he was a few times in the squad of the team but was no longer used. In December of the same year, he returned to his old franchise in South Korea. He then left this again for the 2001/02 season to join the Bucheon SK . During the winter break of this season, he ended his career at the age of only 23.
