Jeffrey Thomas (born October 3, 1957 ) is an American writer of science fiction and horror novels .

His short stories have been published in St. Martins The Year's best Fantasy and Horror # 14 , The Year's Best Horror Stories # 12 , The Year's best Fantastic Fiction, and Quick Chills II: The Best Horror Fiction from the Specialty Press , among others .
