Jefim Salmanowitsch Schifrin ( Russian Ефи́м За́лманович Шифри́н ; born March 25, 1956 in Neksikan near Sussuman , Magadan Oblast ) is a Russian actor.

Life

Jefim Shifrin was born in 1956 in Magadan Oblast , Neksikan settlement. From 1973 to 1974 he studied at the philological faculty of the Latvian University and from 1974 to 1978 at the department of entertainment arts (drama) at the State School of Artistry and Entertainment, with Roman Wiktjuk . As early as 1977 he played in the theater studio of Moscow State University . Among Jefim's theater roles during this time, his roles in performances were “Goodbye, boys!”, “Night after discharge”, “Duck hunting”. In 1979, Jefim became a laureate of the 1st competition of entertainment actors in Moscow , 1983, laureate of the 7th Union competition (the 7th national competition) for entertainment actors. Yefim played his first solo performance "I want to say" - mainly based on works by Viktor Kokljuschkin - in 1985. Texts by Kokljuschkin were also used as the basis for the pieces "Three Questions" and "Full Moon". In 1990 Jefim founded the “Schifrin Theater”, which he still directs today. In 1992 the actor was awarded the "Golden Ostap" award.

His repertoire includes many vocal works, including romances with music by Dmitri Shostakovich and texts by Sascha Tschorny, songs such as "Jerusalem" by Mark Minkow, "The Music in Me" by Mikhail Kotschetkow, "Southern Night" by Alexander Klewizki and others.

He played theater roles in the performances "I don't know you anymore, my dear", "Love with a fool", "Putanen", "Bock, or Who is Silvia" (directed by Roman Wiktjuk), "Rumors" (directed by Wadim Dubrowizki) . In 2006 the premiere of the performance based on the play by Yevgeny Schwarz (directed by Vladimir Mirsojew) took place in the Theatrarium in Serpukhovka, where Shifrin played the role of mayor.

In 2008 Schifrin appeared in two theater premieres. On the one hand in the role of Erwe Montenja in the performance "The scandal! The audience is forbidden to see!" based on a play by Jean Marsana (director Valeri Sarkissow) and in the role of Harry Essendajna in the performance "The Laughing Flower" based on the play by Noela Kauarda, directed by Mikhail Kosakow.

Efim Shifrin played in the films "Bolotnaya Street", "A Hero of Our Tribe". In the musical “Engel mit dem Stummel”, which was performed by Yevgeny Ginsburg , Yefim Shifrin sang 13 songs (music by Alexander Klewizki, text by Yuri Ryazhenzew) and appeared in 20 film roles. 2007 saw the premiere of Andrei Konchalovsky's film “Shine” , in which Schifrin played the role of Mark Schiffer. He also played in the television magazine "Eralasch".

For several years, Yefim Shifrin led the benefit performances every March in the State Central Concert Hall “Rossija” (Russia) with the participation of stars of Russian entertainment: “Ark Shifrinoahs”, “WWW.SHIFRIN.RU”, “Opus No. 10”, “Die Stairs ”,“ census ”,“ people in masks ”. And in 2006 there was the anniversary benefit performance “Cabaret. Reloaded ”instead. Jefim Schifrin has written the following books: “The theater of my name” (co-author G. Wiren) and “Personal files of Jefim Schifrin”.

In 2000 Schifrin received the World Class “Mister Fitness” award from the international club network, and in 2006 he was awarded the diploma of the Body Culture and Sport Committee, Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation of the Moscow Government for his propaganda for sport and a healthy lifestyle (health). Other awards to Jefim Schifrin are the Rajkin Cup (2001) and 2nd prize with the Nikulin Cup for his contribution to the television program of the First Channel “Stars in the Manege”.
