Jelena Borisovna Skrynnik
Jelena Borissowna Skrynnik ( Russian Елена Борисовна Скрынник ; born August 30, 1961 in Korkino ) is a Russian entrepreneur and politician. From March 2009 to May 2012 she was Minister of Agriculture in the Government of the Russian Federation .
Jelena Skrynnik studied medicine and economics in Chelyabinsk . In 1992 she graduated from the Academy of Economics at the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in management skills. She has a doctorate in medicine and a doctorate in economics.
In 1994 she founded the company Medleasing , a leasing company for medical technology. Since 2002 she has been the general director of Rosagroleasing, a company that supplies agricultural producers with technology and breeding cattle on a leasing basis.
On March 12, 2009 she was appointed Russian Minister of Agriculture to succeed Alexei Gordejew . She no longer belongs to the new government under Dmitry Medvedev . Her successor was Nikolai Fyodorov . Skrynnik has been a member of the board of the ruling United Russia party since November 2008 .
Jelena Skrynnik is a devout, Russian Orthodox Christian and volunteers for the church. For this she was awarded the “Order of the Holy Apostles, Princess Olga III ” by the Moscow Patriarchate . Degree ” and the “ Order of the Holy Martyr Tryphon III. Degree “ excellent.
