Jelena Michailowna Utkina ( Russian Елена Михайловна Уткина ; born May 29, 1990 in Volgograd , born Jelena Michailowna Fomina) is a Russian handball player .
Career
Utkina played from 2006 for the Russian first division club GK Dynamo Volgograd . With GK Dynamo Volgograd, the goalkeeper won the Russian championship in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Furthermore, she stood in the 2014/15 season in the Final Four of the EHF Champions League . From summer 2015 she guarded the gate of GK Lada Tolyatti . With Lada, she reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2016 . Four seasons later, she joined the Russian first division club PGK CSKA Moscow .
With the Russian youth team, Utkina won the gold medal at the European Summer Youth Olympic Festival 2007 , the gold medal at the U-18 World Championship in 2008 , the bronze medal at the U-19 European Championship in 2009 and the silver medal at the U-20 World Championship in 2010 . With the Russian national team she took part in the 2016 European Championships .

Utkina is married. She gave birth to a son on July 21, 2014.
