The Jellicoe Channel is the western of three channels that connect the Hauraki Gulf in New Zealand with the Pacific Ocean . It is northeast of Auckland and is located between Little Barrier Island and Cape Rodney at the tip of the Northland Peninsula .
The other two channels are the Cradock Channel and the Colville Channel .
