Praktica BCA
The Praktica BCA is a single-lens reflex camera of the Praktica -B series from the manufacturer Pentacon from Dresden . The cameras manufactured in the GDR were also exported abroad. It is the successor to the Praktica B 100 . Technically, it differs from this one through the exposure display with colored LEDs and the missing coaxial flash connection. The BCA built around 230,000 cameras between August 1986 and December 1989.

Several variations of the Praktica BCA were produced:
- BCA M
- Praktica M , special version for connection to microscopes
- Praktica BCS
- Praktica BCC
- Jenaflex AC-1: technically a Praktica BCA with an additional handle, which was built from 1987 to 1989 in relatively small numbers for the British market.

- manual correction of the exposure time of +/- 2 steps

- Hot shoe with X-synchronization (1/60 s)

- frame counter that resets when the rear panel is opened, shutter release
- 4 × LR44 battery (V 28PX, 6 volts)
