Jennifer Lien
Jennifer Ann Lien (born August 24, 1974 in Chicago , Illinois ) is a former American actress , best known for her role as Kes in Star Trek: Spaceship Voyager .
Life
Jennifer Lien was already on stage at the age of 13 in numerous plays such as Othello and Der Sturm . Only a few years later she switched to the camera. She made her breakthrough in 1990 in the soap opera Another World , in which she played the orphan girl Hannah Moore for two years.
In the television series Star Trek: Spaceship Voyager , she played the Ocampa Kes from 1995 to 1997 . In 1998 she starred in American History X as Davina Vinyard, sister of Derek Vinyard ( Edward Norton ) and Danny Vinyard ( Edward Furlong ).
Most recently, Lien was active as a voice actress in several animated series ; for example, she speaks “L” in the cartoon series Men in Black and the adult Vitani in The Lion King 2 .
Lien is married and has one son.
After ending her film career, she had some personal problems that resulted in multiple arrests.
