Jennifer Thompson
Jennifer Thompson (married Jarman; born March 30, 1938 in Eltham ) is a former New Zealand discus thrower and shot putter .
At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff in 1958 , she won silver in the discus throw and was fifth in the shot put.
In 1960 she was eliminated from qualifying in the discus throw at the Olympic Games in Rome .
In the same year she became New Zealand champion in the discus throw with her personal best of 52.23 m.
