Jenny Door ( March 20, 1879 in Vienna - after 1902) was an Austrian theater actress and singer .

Life

Door, the daughter of the well-known Professor Anton Door , took lessons from Aurelia Jaeger-Wlczek and Rosa Bromeisl and received her dramatic training from August Stoll .

She found her first engagement at the Friedrich Wilhelmstädtisches Theater in Berlin, where she made her debut as "Fabia" in the Tugendring until 1900 and achieved decisive success in this and the following role of "Princess" in the ladies' tailor .

The young artist liked her naturalness, her silver-light, effortlessly expressing, well-trained voice, her very own grace in movement and play and her high, graceful stage appearance. Despite her youth, she already filled the subject of first female operetta singer perfectly.
