Jenny Owen Youngs
Jenny Owen Youngs (born November 22, 1981 in Montclair , New Jersey ) is an American singer and songwriter .
Life
In school, Young played the flute and later the tuba. At 14 she started playing the guitar. The album "Batten the Hatches" was released for the first time in 2005. In April 2007 the album was released a second time, this time under the indie label Nettwerk. The album was released in Germany on June 1, 2007. The song "Fuck Was I" from the album is included on the soundtrack Vol. 2 of the TV series Weeds . He is played in the first episode of the second season.
