Jens-Fietje Dwars

Jens-Fietje Dwars (born August 2, 1960 in Weißenfels ) is a German author, documentary filmmaker and organizer of exhibitions.

Dwars studied philosophy at the University of Breslau , the Humboldt University and the University of Jena and received his doctorate in 1987 on the subject of " Philosophy of History and Anthropology with Ludwig Feuerbach ". After that he worked as a German studies assistant at the University of Jena until 1992. He was then unemployed and retrained as a speaker for advertising, marketing and public relations. Since 2000 Dwars has been working as a freelance author and editor in Jena and organizing exhibitions. He wrote the lyrics for five documentaries and directed three of these films. According to his own information on his homepage, he maintained contacts with the Ministry for State Security of the GDR ( MfS ) from 1979 to 1989 and has been working on this as an author since 1992. Dwars has been the editor and designer of Edition Ornament since 2005, and since 2013 also of the White Series in quartus-Verlag by Detlef Ignasiak (Bucha near Jena). In addition, since 2005 he has been editor of the literary magazine Palmbaum - Literarisches Journal from Thuringia, ibid.
