Jens Ahnemüller (born October 7, 1961 in Apolda ) is a German politician (non-party). He is a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament , initially in the parliamentary group of Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) and since his exclusion from the parliamentary group in September 2018 as a non-attached member .

Life

Ahnemüller works as a car mechanic in Rhineland-Palatinate . Since April 14, 2013 he was a member of the Alternative für Deutschland. When the Trier-Saarburg district association was founded at the end of 2013, he was elected deputy chairman. Since 2014 he was chairman of the district association.

He ran for the state elections in 2016 in the constituency of Konz / Saarburg and was elected to the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate via the state list .

In the state parliament he works in the election review committee and in the prison commission. He was the transport and sport policy spokesman for his parliamentary group.

In September 2018, the AfD parliamentary group excluded Ahnemüller because of contacts with Sascha Wagner , the former deputy chairman of the NPD Rhineland-Palatinate . Ahnemüller denies the contacts and spoke in 2018 of a "staging". In November 2019, the Federal Arbitration Court of the AfD also confirmed his exclusion from the party .
