Jens Dittmar (2010)

Jens Dittmar (born July 9, 1950 in Saarbrücken ) is a Liechtenstein author and publisher.

Life

Jens Dittmar spent his childhood and youth in Liechtenstein. After studying German in Zurich and Vienna , which he completed with a thesis on Thomas Bernhard , he worked in publishing for 25 years, a. a. as editor in Munich and as editor in Stuttgart. Then he was a dramaturge and managing director in the cultural sector.

Dittmar is the editor of a number of books, including a Thomas Bernhard work history (1981/1990) published by Suhrkamp Verlag . Gift volumes and anthologies followed, including an overall presentation of the poetry from Liechtenstein. From Heinrich von Frauenberg to today (2005).

Since 2008 he has dedicated himself to his own literary projects. The author is married and lives in Balzers / Principality of Liechtenstein.
