Jens Schreiber (born August 26, 1982 in Oldenburg ) is a German freestyle swimmer who swam twice in the 2004 Olympic finals with the relays.

Career

Schreiber starts for the water lovers Hanover . In 2003 he won the German Short Course Championship over 100 meters freestyle. At the European Short Course Championships in 2003 he took second place with the 4 × 50 meter relay. At the German Swimming Championships in 2004 , Schreiber won over 100 meters and over 200 meters freestyle. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he was eighth with the 4 × 100-meter relay, with the 4 × 200-meter relay, he reached sixth place. A year later at the swimming world championships in 2005 he was sixth with the 4 × 100-meter relay, the long relay took seventh place. Schreiber retired from both the 2005 and 2007 World Championships on the 100-meter course in the preliminary run.
