Jeong Gu (* 1543 , † 1620 ; also Jung Gu ) was a Korean philosopher, poet and writer during the Joseon Dynasty . As a student and academic successor to Jo Sik and Yi Hwang , he was a famous Confucianist thinker in Korea. His nickname was Han-gang ( 한강 , 寒 岡 ).
