Jeremy Maartens (born August 14, 1979 in Cape Town ) is a former South African cyclist .

Jeremy Maartens began his career in 2001 with Team HSBC . In his first year there, he won a stage at FBD Insurance Rás and the Liberty Ride for Sight . In 2003 he won a stage in the Tour de la Manche , he became the South African champion in the individual time trial and won the gold medal in the road race at the African Games . In 2004 he drove without a professional team, but won the overall ranking of the Tour du Maroc , a stage and the overall ranking of the Tour of Tunisia , a stage of the Tour of Qinghai Lake and the Knysna Tour. In 2005 Maartens moved to Barloworld, and from 2008 he drove for the Neotel team . In 2011 he ended his cycling career.
