Jeremy Peter Allen

Jeremy Peter Allen (born August 15, 1968 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian film director , producer and screenwriter .

Life and accomplishments

Allen worked as a production manager and first assistant director on the drama The Other Side of the Moon (2003), which was awarded various prizes. In it, Robert Lepage played two different brothers in a double role. With the film Manners of Dying (2004) Allen made his debut as a director in a feature film. He also wrote the script and was responsible for editing . In this drama film, the main character, who is sentenced to death, played by Roy Dupuis , is shown in his final hours.

In 2001 Allen won the jury's award for Requiem contre un plafond for best short film at the Ajijic International Film Festival . In 2006 he was nominated for the Genie Award for Best Editing for Manners of Dying .

Allen lives in Quebec City and has a son named Liam (* 2004).
