Jergali Bulegenov

Jergali Bulegenow ( Russian Ергали Булегенович Булегенов ; born October 26, 1956 in South Kazakhstan , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh diplomat and since January 2012 Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Belarus .

biography

Bulegenov graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology at the Russian University of Friendship of Nations in Moscow in 1984 and the Kazakh Institute of Chemistry and Technology (now the State University of South Kazakhstan) in 1994.

From 1995 to 1999 he was a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security in the Mäschilis . He then headed the CIS Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for three years .

From 2001 to 2005, Bulegenov held the duties of the Embassy Council of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine , before he again headed the Department for CIS Affairs in the Kazakh Foreign Ministry from 2005 to 2008.

On June 13, President Nursultan Nazarbayev appointed him plenipotentiary ambassador of Kazakhstan to Spain and, a few months later, also appointed him permanent representative of the country to the Madrid-based World Tourism Organization .

Jergali Bulegenov has been the Kazakh ambassador to Belarus since January 25, 2012 .
