The Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( Kazakh Қазақстан Республикасының Сыртқы істер министрлігі , Russian Министерство иностранных дел Республики Казахстан , English Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan ), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and one of 18 ministries of Kazakhstan .

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the central executive body of the Kazakh government. It implements the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and heads the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan . The Minister is appointed and dismissed by the Kazakh President.

The tasks were defined in Decree 1118 of the Kazakh government on October 28, 2004.

The Ministry also maintains the International Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee on CIS Matters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee on Investments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
