Jerik Nuraqayev

Jerik Jessimuly Nuraqajew ( Kazakh Ерік Есімұлы Нұрақаев , Russian Ерик Есимович Нуракаев Jerik Jessimowitsch Nurakajew ; born September 1, 1960 in the village of Ortalyk, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician .

Life

Jerik Nuraqayev was born in 1960 in the village of Ortalyk in what is now Shambyl County in northern Kazakhstan . In 1982 he completed a degree in economics at the Institute for Economics in Alma-Ata . In 2002 he received another degree from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He began his professional career in a state farm in the Timirjasew district. From 1983 he worked for the agricultural department of the Shambyl County and then the Lenin County in northern Kazakhstan. From 1995 to 2002 he was Äkim of Yessil County and from 2002 to 2004 Äkim of Aqshar County. In 2004 he became Deputy Äkim (Governor) of Northern Kazakhstan. On November 3, 2008, he was appointed mayor of the city of Petropavl . After only eleven months in this post, Nurschan Aschimbetov replaced him as Mayor of Petropavl. He was then director of a farm before he was reappointed Äkim of Jessil County on April 18, 2012. He held this post until June 2013. Between 2013 and 2017 Nuraqayev worked for the Kazpost . He was first director of the regional office in North Kazakhstan and later head of the finance department of the regional department.

Since December 2017, he has been chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the North Kazakhstan Region.
