Marat Tasmaghanbetov

Marat Imanbajuly Tasmaghanbetow ( Kazakh Марат Иманбайұлы Тасмағанбетов , Russian Марат Иманбаевич Тасмаганбетов Marat Imanbajewitsch Tasmaganbetow * 20th August 1971 in the village Andreevka, Oblast Kokchetav , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician .

Life

Marat Imanbajuly Tasmaghanbetow was born in 1971 in the village of Andrejewka in what is now the Ghabit Müsirepow district in northern Kazakhstan . In 1994 he completed a degree in agricultural sciences at the Agricultural Institute in Kökschetau. He obtained a further degree in 2002 at the Institute for Economics and Statistics in Almaty. In 2014 he also graduated from the Russian Academy of Economics and Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation .

He began his professional career in 1994 in a state farm where he held various positions. From 1998 he worked in another company. In October 2006 he switched to politics and was from October 20 of the year Äkim of the Ghabit Müsirepow district in northern Kazakhstan. After around eight years in this office, he became the new mayor of Petropavl after Tölegen Sakarijanow resigned on October 11, 2014 . Tasmaghanbetow has been the first deputy Äkim (governor) of the Northern Kazakhstan region since March 2019.
