Jerzy Marek Ziętek

Jerzy Marek Ziętek (born December 1, 1956 in Katowice ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Jerzy Marek Ziętek is the youngest grandson of General Jerzy Ziętek . Ziętek studied medicine at the Silesian Medical University of Katowice and received his doctorate there. He specialized in gynecology and obstetrics and was deputy chief physician at the Clinic for Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Silesian Medical University.

From November 2006 he was on the Council of the Silesian Voivodeship . In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 he stood in constituency 31 Katowice for the Platforma Obywatelska and was able to win a seat for the Sejm with 11,886 votes . In the Sejm he works in the commissions for social policy and family as well as health.

Jerzy Ziętek is married and has two children.
