Fenugreek (nature reserve)

The Bockshorn nature reserve is located in Porta Westfalica . It is around 26 hectares and is listed under the designation MI-044 .

It is located north of the district of Veltheim and the Weser and south of the federal motorway 2 .

The protection position should serve to preserve the former dry excavation. The raw soil left to natural development has created a refuge of ruderal corridors and small bodies of water for rare animal and plant species. These biotopes must be protected.
