Fence field
The Hehler Feld is a nature reserve in the city of Porta Westfalica . It is around 46 hectares and is listed under the designation MI-026.
The area lies west of the Eisbergen district and not far from the Weser .
The protection is intended to serve the preservation of valuable wetlands . The excavation water with its wet and wet meadows , large sedge , remains of broken forest and other woody stocks should become a retreat for rare animal and plant species. The area is of particular importance for water birds .
