Heineberg (Porta Westfalica)

The Heineberg is a nature reserve in the East Westphalian town of Porta Westfalica . It is around 9 hectares and is listed under the official designation MI-049.

location

the Heineberg nature reserve is located east of the Kleinenbremen district on the north side of the Weser Mountains .

Facility

The protected position is intended to serve as a refuge for rare plant species in order to preserve the semi- arid grasslands . In addition, the naturally occurring heat-loving bushes and the adjacent beech forest site are to be protected.
