Jerzy Pławczyk

Jerzy Pławczyk (born April 16, 1911 in Dąbrowa Górnicza ; date of death unknown) was a Polish high jumper and decathlete .

At the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he was seventh in the high jump .

In 1934 he won bronze in the decathlon at the European Athletics Championships in Turin .

At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin he was ninth in the decathlon and came in 22nd place in the high jump .

In 1938 he was sixth in the decathlon at the European Championships in Paris .
