Life

Alfaro began his professional career in the 1992/93 season with his hometown club UAT Correcaminos , for whom he made his debut in the Mexican Primera División on April 18, 2003 in the 0-1 away defeat by UAG Tecos . While he only completed this one mission in the 1992/93 season, he became a regular goalkeeper one season later with 22 missions.

For the following season he was committed by Deportivo Toluca FC , where he was under contract until the summer of 1997, but was only used 17 times in the three years.

For the 1997/98 season he moved to UAG Tecos, where he was used ten times in the first half of the season, but only three times in the second half of the season.

He then signed with CF Pachuca , with whom he experienced his most successful years as a goalkeeper, although he was also "only the first substitute goalkeeper" for the Tuzos . After all, he came to a total of fifty appearances in his five years at Pachuca, with ten appearances in Torneo Verano 1999 , his personally most successful half-season. His sporting most successful seasons were the Invierno 1999 and Invierno 2001 , in which he completed eight appearances and won the championship title with his team. He also won the CONCACAF Champions Cup with the Tuzos in 2002 .
