Jesús López Meneses (born May 24, 1971 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .
career
López Meneses began his professional career at Toros Neza . When this club withdrew from the top Mexican league at the end of the 1999/00 season , López was initially without a club and then found a job with the capital club Club América , with which he won the championship title in Torneo Verano 2002 .
He then played for CF Pachuca and Jaguares de Chiapas and their farm team Jaguares de Tapachula before ending his active career in 2004 in the service of the Querétaro Fútbol Club .
Currently (season 2016/17) López works in the coaching staff of the newly formed CD Estudiantes Tecos . The 1994 Mexican champions are currently only playing in the fourth-rate Tercera Division .
