Jessica Mezey (* in New York City ) is an American prima ballerina and advertising model .

Life

She graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg . In her young career she was seen in leading roles, including at the Philadelphia Ballet Theater and the Slovak National Theater , and has mastered the entire classical repertoire, as well as modern dance , the neoclassical style and many other styles.

She has also given performances as a prima ballerina in the national theaters of Bosnia-Herzegovina , Azerbaijan and Mongolia and has been on various tours in the USA, Europe - especially Russia - and Asia.

In 2001 she was a dancer in the two-part ballet evening BACH-Ein Ballettabend as part of the 76th Bach Festival of the New Bach Society in Eisenach . She also made guest appearances on various stages nationwide - including in Rostock . In the 2005/2006 season she danced at the Rostock Volkstheater, among other things, the leading role in the ballet Cschenbrödel by Sergej Prokofjew . In the 2006/2007 season she was also engaged there as a solo dancer. In the 2009/2009 season she took on the leading role of Undine in the new production of the ballet Undine by Hans Werner Henze .

In the 2006/2007 season she was engaged as a guest soloist at the Slovak National Theater; there she danced the leading role of Medora in the ballet Le Corsaire by Adolphe Adam .
