Window Jesus before Pilate in Solre-le-Château

The window of Jesus before Pilate in the Catholic parish church of St-Pierre-St-Paul in Solre-le-Château , a French commune in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in 1532. In 1897 the stained glass window was classified as a monument historique .

The window of an unknown workshop with four lancets is about six meters high and about 2.50 meters wide. It shows Jesus in front of Pilate (below) and the depiction of Ecce homo (above). The scenes are framed by garlands and architectural elements.

The four angels with the tools of passion in the tracery are from more recent times.
