25 firm orders and 85 options for the Learjet 60XR valued at 1.5 billion US dollars were placed with the Canadian manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace . The company ran into financial difficulties with the financial crisis from 2007 , which delayed the start of business activities. Irish bookmaker Paddy Power put up a bet on whether the company would ever operate airplanes.
