Euram Bank is a private customer bank based in Vienna , Austria . The bank was founded in 1999 and is wholly owned by management and private investors. The bank's focus is on private banking and investment banking, which also includes investment advice and portfolio management. They offer various financial services and financial products for Austrian and international private customers, family offices, family businesses and institutional customers. In 2012, Euram Bank was investigated for breach of trust and falsification of accounts. A lawsuit by Euram Bank against Slovakia failed in 2014.
Deposit insurance
As an Austrian credit institution, the bank is fully subject to the provisions of the ESAEG ( Deposit Protection and Investor Compensation Act ), the national implementation of the relevant guidelines of the European Union and is a member of the deposit insurance of Banken & Bankiers GmbH, so all deposits up to 100,000 euros in Austria are fully covered.
